Programme overview
The Diploma in Mechanical Engineering trains students in the design, manufacture and maintenance of mechanical equipment using the core principles of mechanics. The programme covers machine parts and devices, industrial machinery, kinetics, fluid mechanics and robotics. With industrial automation increasing demand for skilled technicians and supervisors, ME diploma holders are prepared for supervisory roles on the shop floor. Graduates may also take lateral entry into the 2nd year of B.Tech.
