A polytechnic built on purpose since 2010.
Shree Ramkrishna Institute of Science and Technology (SRIST) is a polytechnic college in Kolkata, established in 2010 under Swami Vivekananda Institute of Science and Technology — a non-profit trust dedicated to high-standard technical and professional education, research and training. SRIST is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to the West Bengal State Council of Technical Education (WBSCTE).
SRIST offers full-time, three-year Polytechnic Diploma programmes in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics & Tele-Communication, Civil, Computer Science & Technology and Architecture, supported by a Department of Basic Science & Humanities. The institute is part of the Swami Vivekananda Group of Institutes (SVGI).
